Job Description
Category -1(Group 'C): 2 posts with pay band Rs.5200-20200/- +G.P.1900/- or 2000/-
Educational Qualification: (a) For Non-Technical Categories: Matriculation or Equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate
(b) For Technician Categories: Apprenticeship/ITI. B.E. will be accepted as an alternative degree.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 Yrs. as on 01/07/2013.
Category -2(Group 'D): 8 posts with pay band Rs.5200-20200/- +G.P.1800/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10th or ITI or equivalent and Scouting/Guiding Qualification as in Para 4.0
Age Limit: 18 to 33 Yrs. as on 01/07/2013.
Dates to Remember: The closing date of application is 8th February, 2013.
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be available as per government rules.
Application Fees: The Examination fees of Rs. 40/- is payable either in form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘FA&CAO, Eastern Railway Kolkata’.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on personal interview.
Interested candidates may send their applications along with all copies of certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer and two self-addressed envelopes with Rs.5/- postage stamp to be fixed on each envelope. It should be reached on or before 08/02/2013. Application should be strictly written in format given on official website (given below).
